The second film funded by LEH’s partnership with #CreateLouisiana, Le Grand Remix premieres on Saturday, Feb. 24, at the New Orleans French Film Festival. Set in the New Orleans French immersion community, Le Grand Remix follows a francophone school teacher from Africa and a teenage former student connect through music, dance, and cathartic visions of their worlds reimagined.
The 2017 CreateLouisiana French Film Grant was a partnership with TV5MONDE USA, the New Orleans Film Society, LEH and Deep South Studios. Directed by Austin Alward and produced by Sam Claitor, the film screens at 2:30pm at the Prytania Theater as part of the festival’s shorts program. Click here for tickets.
